The girl who played with fire is the second installment of the series. This book blew me away and was by far my favorite out of the three. By now, the characters are developed and the plot becomes clear. There are many twists and turns that leave you fighting to put it down. In this book Lisbeth is accused in a triple murder. She returns from her vacation abroad and has no idea how this could have happened. She gets herself off the radar and uses her hacking skills to discover why she was put on the wanted signs all over the media. New, very important characters are introduced. You have to read it or I would be giving the story away! Like the first book in the series, the movie is worth watching. However, do not skip the book because the movie leaves out quite a bit of the story. This book is a must read!
